Is Ragnagna really free?

Yes, completely, and it will stay that way. No subscription, no paid version, no ads. It lives on donations.

Who can read my data?

Only you. Your notes are encrypted on your phone with your password before they are sent. Even the Ragnagna team can’t read them.

What if I forget my password?

When you sign up, you get a 24-character recovery key. With it, you get everything back. Without it, nobody can decrypt your history: keep it somewhere safe.

Can I use Ragnagna as contraception?

No. Ovulation dates are estimates. The calendar method is not a reliable form of contraception. Talk to a health professional to choose your contraception.

My cycles are irregular. Will it still work?

Yes. Predictions are based on your own cycles and adjust over the months. The summary even shows you your regularity, which is useful to show your doctor.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Ragnagna opens in your browser. You can add it to your home screen to open it like an app, on iPhone and Android alike.

Can I change phones?

Yes. Log in on your new phone with your email and password: everything comes back, still encrypted.
